CHAMP
The Center for Healthy Aging in Multicultural Populations (CHAMP) is an organization at San Jose State University that promotes healthy aging among multicultural and diverse populations living in the San Francisco Bay Area. CHAMP facilitates interdisciplinary research, education, and training in regard to aging. CHAMP also forms strategic partnerships with community-based organizations that work with older adults.
Problem
The DBH Agency team working with CHAMP was a smaller team and was working with CHAMP from Winter 2021 - Spring 2022. I joined them fairly late in Spring 2022 because they asked if anyone was able to join and help them.

From my understanding, the team was nearing the end on social media and video projects for CHAMP. They needed additional help on website updating and some minor video editing.
Work
CHAMP's website was on San Jose State University's web content management system, Omni CMS. I took a required online class to understand Omni CMS-specific guidelines, best-use practices, and how to use it properly.

Using Omni CMS was a challenge because of how limiting it was compared to other website designing sites. I communicated these challenges and regularly spoke to our client so they can understand what is going on and so I can get their feedback. At the end of it, we came to a point where they were satisfied with the end result.

Alongside this was some minor video editing I had to do (shortening).
